This detailed map depicts Poland and Lithuania in their largest expanse, at a historic time before their dismemberment and partition in the late 1700’s. The map extends from the Baltic Sea as far east as Moscow and as far south as the northern tip of the Black Sea near Odessa including Belarus, the Czech Republic and part of the Ukraine.
Topographical features are shown and major cities, towns, waterways, forests and mountains are located. The map is further enhanced with a decorative title cartouche flanked by two heraldic angels mounted on hippocampi.
