“MAP OF BALTIMORE” Chicago: George F. Cram, c. 1899. Color-printed map with original color.(Image: 10 1/8 x 12 ½’’)
This 19th century city plan depicts Baltimore as it existed in the late 1890’s. Railroads, streets and waterways are identified.
The key, lower left, provides the location for various Prominent buildings, hotels, churches, theaters and depots. Parks, cemeteries, docks and depots, and Fort McHenry are also located.
A very interesting and detailed view of Baltimore prior to the 20th century!
