This attractive map depicts England, Scotland and Ireland with the countries named and in contrasting color. Countries and provinces are also named and delineated. Topographical features are shown with major cities, towns, mountains, waterways and islands located. Major seas, oceans and straits are named in Latin and English.
The upper left inset depicts the Orkney Islands. The bottom right shows the coasts of Netherlands, Belgium and northern France.
The large elaborate title cartouche contains a lion and unicorn, coat-of-arms and numerous cherubs.
