This handsome historical map depicts Arkansas with its counties named and in contrasting colors. Topographical features are also well delineated, and various land, stage, steamboat and rail routes are identified.
The ''cotton region'' (northeast of Little Rock) is located. A chart provides steamboat routes from Little Rock to New Orleans, Pittsburg [sic] and Fort Gibson. A very detailed view of the state as it existed prior to the Civil War!
