This is an extremely detailed map of the state of Kansas, showing the development of the important railroad system after the Civil War. Railroads are color coded and named, and whistle stops are indicated. Counties are identified and named in bold type. Cities, towns, villages and Post Offices are also named as are many of the waterways, including rivers and creeks. Longitude lines are shown West from Washington.
A very scarce map due to the small print run and the paper used. Much better than usual condition, with a few fold separations joined on back with archival tape.
