This colorful miniature map of Texas was produced by the Arbuckle Coffee Company as an incentive to purchase their coffee. The area, population, major cities, towns and rivers are identified. The surrounding views depict the primary industries of the time: Cattle and Oil.
This scarce map is from the revised Arbuckle US map series produced in 1915, with new images and updated narrative describing the state on the back of the card. Unlike the original 1889-1893 series, these cards were not distributed individually in packages of coffee. They we mailed as complete sets to teachers for use them as instructional classroom material. As such they are significantly scarcer than the 1889 series.
