The two-line illuminated “P” begins Lesson VIII – Job 19: 20-27: “Pelli…” (The flesh being consumed, my bone hath cleaved to my skin…I know that my Redeemer liveth, and in the last day I shall rise out of the earth. And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I shall see my God…).
The two-line illuminated “Q” begins Lesson IX – Job 10: 18-20: “Quare de…” (Why didst thou bring me forth out of the womb: O that I had been consumed that eye might not see me…).
