This extremely detailed map of the Unites States depicts all the Indian Reservations throughout the country, updated to the beginning of the 20th century. The list at the left provides the key to locating Reservations, Schools, Military Stations, etc. States are shown in contrasting colors and topographical features are very well noted. Water routes and rail routes are also identified. An unusual and informative view of the United States in the 1890’s!
A fine original example of this uncommon historic map from a US Government documen, folded as issued. Small closed tear from the tab on left border.
