This unusually detailed map depicts Massachusetts with its counties in contrasting colors. Topographical features are very well noted with major towns, cities, Post Offices, waterways, and railroads identified. The inset, lower left, depicts an enlarged view of the “ENVIRONS OF BOSTON”. A very informative view of the state as it existed in the 1890’s.
