This early leaf consists of text printed in gothic letters. It contains ten complete Psalms and portions of two others! !

The  first three-line illuminated “I” continues Psalm 118 (King James 119) 113-176: “Iniquos adio habui…” (I have hated the unjust: and have loved thy low.  Thou art my helper and my protector: and in thy word I have greatly hoped…).  

The three-line illuminated “A” begins Psalm 119 (KJ 120) complete: “Ad Dominum…” (In my trouble I cried to the Lord: and he heard me…).

The next three-line illuminated “L” begins Psalm 120 (KJ 121) complete: “Levavi…” (I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence my help shall come to me. My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth…).

The next three-line illuminated “L begins Psalm 121 (KJ 122) complete: “Letatus…” (I rejoiced at the things that were said to me…).

The next three-line illuminated “A” begins Psalm 122 (KJ 123) complete: “To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven…).

The three-line illuminated “N” begins Psalm 123 (KJ 122) complete: “Nisi…” (If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say…).
