This historical and decorative map depicts the state of Florida with its counties named and in contrasting colors. Railroads are shown with each stop noted. Topographical features are depicted and major towns, cities, islands, swamps, land routes and water routes identified. Light Houses and Post Offices are also located.
The insets, lower left, depict the “SOUTHERN PORTION OF FLORIDA” and a “MAP SHOWING PARTS OF LAKE, ORANGE AND VOLUSIA COUNTIES” (the latter locates several grants). An attractive view of the state as it existed in the 1890’s.
