Issued by the State of Missouri, District of St. Louis, to inspect the Steamer Col. Morgan whose master was Samuel G. Cabbell.

Signed by James H. McCord & H. Singleton and dated December 21, 1855.

This certificate was issued to allow the steamer, “built at Brownsville in the State of Pennsylvania…and in good condition for navigation…” to ply the upper Mississippi and Illinois rivers.
