This unusually detailed map depicts the Minnesota cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul as they were known in the 1890’s. Railroads are shown throughout. Major streets are named and several cemeteries and parks are located. Numerous buildings and institutions are also identified (Central Market, Court House, West Hotel…).
The insets along the bottom depict the ''BUSINESS PORTION OF MINNEAPOLIS'' and the ''BUSINESS PORTION OF ST. PAUL''.
