This "Practical Itinerary for a Stranger in Paris" depicts the city in remarkable detail! Plazas, streets, fountains, public places, antiquities, schools and notable palaces are identified with the major buildings pictured by a drawn birds-eye view. Major routes – completed and under construction are delineated. A considerable portion is included outside the ancient walls of the city.
Unusual to find a folding map such as this in good condition – usually they were well used by the tourists and, if not discarded, left in poor condition.
