A finely executed original mezzotint engraving showing parents and a grandfather doting on their three young children. The family cat watches contently from atop the fireplace mantel. Robert Sayer & John Bennett (fl. mid 1700’s) were noted for publishing fine mezzotints, etchings and line engravings of sporting subjects, caricatures, portraits and topographical views.
