This 1887 city plan depicts Atlanta, Georgia as it existed in the 1880’s.  The city limits line is shown with the area within the city colored in orange. 

The keys top and bottom left help locate 26 different buildings including the Opera House, Capitol, Atlanta National Bank, Police Station and Fulton County Jail.

Railroads and “Horse Roads” are noted with most streets named and the Oakland Cemetery and Grant Park located. A very detailed view of the city as it existed in the 1880’s.
