The first section (pages 1 through 263) of the choirbook includes Gregorian chant for part of the Antiphonal (Easter to Advent).
The second section (pages I – CLXXXVII) of the choirbook includes portions of the Sanctoral and Temporale for March to November.
Music is executed in red and black on a four-line stave. Chant is rendered in Latin. Titles, rubrics and headings are in French.
Provenance per the title inscription: Belonging to, and possibly scribed, by Louis Meunier – cleric, priest of Etrepilly, and Dean of Assy, formerly priest of Neuseilles, 1770. Later in the estate of a music professor at UC Berkeley, and sold by Peter Howard of Serendipity Books, Berkeley.
